Some call it sassy, others jaunty, but one thing is for sure: Plié is here to play. This child’s stool incorporates a 10″ high seat sculpted by hand, irregular geometry, and soft radiused edges throughout. Both legs are joined to the seat with sturdy rectangular tenons, to handle a little roughhousing. The design takes its name from the dancer’s pose, heels in and poised to bend the knees for a spry leap. The prototype features reclaimed white pine, stabilized with a bowtie and clear resin.
