This design is a speculative book cover for Edward Snow’s translation of Rainier Maria Rilke’s Sonnets to Orpheus. It uses traditional darkroom photogrammetry of physical objects to create the gauzy clouds, planted earth, and the dark underworld into which Hades carries Eurydice.
